At Ploski Films, we set out to create a cinematic-quality commercial faster, more affordably, and without sacrificing quality – in an industry where traditional production is still relatively expensive and time-consuming.
We started by searching for the approach that would work best in our studio — and that’s how we arrived at the idea of combining real filmmaking expertise with generative AI tools:

How did we actually do it?
Contrary to what many might think, creating a high-quality AI-powered commercial doesn’t come down to just writing good prompts (although that skill is obviously essential).
What steps did we really have to take? Here’s our non-classical pipeline:
- First – the idea (human imagination remains absolutely irreplaceable here!)
- Then – the script. We used AI to create a treatment / storyboard, which — after many iterations based on our internal analysis — eventually became the final script.
- Next – image & sequence generation. Using AI tools, countless prompt versions, endless variations until we achieved the perfect, exactly desired look.
- The key to success – editing. Cinematic aesthetics, precise pacing, visual narrative perfectly tailored to the brand’s needs — this part was done entirely by humans (yes, really!). We drew on our many years of video production expertise and used only human hands and eyes for the edit.
The result?
A full-fledged, cinematic-quality commercial spot:
- produced in significantly shorter time
- at a much lower budget than classic production
- with visual quality that doesn’t fall short of professional films
- ready for immediate use in the campaign!
